Gold Coast University Hospital

Brad Mayes was the Senior Project Manager for Health Infrastructure. He was the main point of contact for the stakeholders, and was able to bring his extensive construction and health knowledge to design, construct and provide operational integration to the project. The Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) establishes a new benchmark for the delivery of health care facilities Australia wide. GCUH is one of the most significant and exciting projects in Queensland Government’s Health Capital Work program. The $1.76B upgrade consists of a 750-bed medical facility with services, and seven main buildings with a total floor space of approximately 170,000m2 (excl. car parks.)
